What do you call the clear plastic tubing that prevent electrical wires from shorting. You find them in machines on the connectors between the coin switches and wiring and the on off switch and wiring and some electrical connectors and wiring.
I'm trying to replace some that are burned or missing..
What is the name used to identify these ?
What is the typical size ?
    What type of plastic ?
Where would you buy them ?
Are there certain places you would use these and other places they should not be used ?

I found something similar at the hardware store in plumbing but too wide.

Here check out this thread. Bryan has the nice thin tubing that’s easier to work with than the plumbing / fish tank tubing. Just tell him what game you are working on and he will tell you all you need for the different sizes

Alex Tech 10ft - 1/4 inch Cord Protector Wire Loom Tubing Cable Sleeve Split Sleeving for USB Cable Power Cord Audio Video Cable – Protect Cat from Chewing Cords - Black https://a.co/d/1JYA1rw

Split loom works great for protecting cabinet or coin door wires. Easier to work with than tubing.

I’ll buy some of that good shit, and I can even pay in cash and pick it up!

It's honestly easier and cheaper for me to just ship that shit out....especially to St. Paul.

I guess you don’t realize it until you really take a game apart all the way. Addams family has a lot more of the small tubing than I realized

Yup. Not only for the pop lamp leads but also to cover the diodes to those lamp leads because they’re controlled and not GI.

We have that crap installed in an industrial application at work. It sucks, the ends fray and you get little strands everywhere. This is in an application where it's subject to vibration constantly, temperature swings, and mechanical movement. Just like a pinball.

Use the real stuff Bryan has.

Even if you don't need this shit, you should just buy it so you can say you have this shit.

Whooooah! Slow your roll, slochar - "crap" is a little strong, isn't it? Let's keep it clean!
