There are actually two "visible pinballs" right now at Lucky Ju Ju. One uses outlines for the playfield art and is more "see through". The second includes the pinball art (and maybe backglass art), but all the mechanics are visible from the sides.

Brokedad, you can do the clear thing on a budget if you're so inclined.
With round parts, you will need to suspend them with a string or something.
I just ordered some little pinball machine model kits so I can make replicas. I'll put the replicas on plaques as trophies for my next pinball tournament. I also want to likewise with flippers, balls, and maybe a pop bumber.
