Yes, that is not a good idea. You will loose most of the transparency required to create the infinity effect....

Do you have a surplus of clear coat? Just discard the can.

My Infinity Glass is 40 years old and in perfect condition. I believe it will outlast me if the regular care is taken.
The process to make the Infinity glass is different from the regular backglasses and should not be submitted to the same aging flaws.
