I own the first TZ Chris Hutchins ever did. This was long before HEP even existed, in fact he even had his own games back then. Anyway the clear on it looks amazing to this day, 20+ years later. His preparation technique was and still is key. I do not think you need 7 or 8 coats of clear to protect a playfield, quality not quantity.
