    Hi all
I'm looking at getting a new buffer and seeing if any of you have any recommendations. I had a old hand me down i used for years and was happy with it till it broke and burnt up and now i bought a simoniz 7" platinum buffer but not really liking it...it has a lot different feel than my old one even with using the same 3m pads, its to easy to burn even at lower speed.

I was thinking of trying this one out?

Not sure if any of used this one? what is everyone else using that they are happy with, Are you using dual, fixed or random orbits? I see they even have cordless ones which i think would be nice for cord free experience but I don't think they would hold up. Trying to get some insight as i am not a professional buffer but i was getting great results buffing clear coat on my playfields with my old original that i didn't even know what make it was as it was missing the labels lol.

I bought my polisher and supplies from https://www.eshine.ca/collections/polishers
    Believe they are in Alberta

I'm not a professional, but I have done quite a bit of body work, including Mercedes and BMW repairs, as well as pinball projects. Harbor Freight works for me HUO.

You can't go wrong with the Rupes, but IMHO it's way overkill. I've used this DA porter cable for years buffing cars and playfields, and it's still going strong at 1/4 the price of the Rupes.

On mine I use a general purpose orange pad 90% of the time with Meguires 105 / 205.

These all look like pretty good choices. Kinda liking the porter cable it seems to be s good size to work with. I'm going to do some reading up and make a decision on one.
    Thanks Guys

I just purchased the Porter Cable in a Kit from Mckees 37 Car Care. 149 bucks, free shipping, comes with your choice of 3 pads, some microfiber towels, the good 5 inch adapter that uses velcro, and 2 free Microfiber Pads.
Great deal and they sent the Tracking number in one day.
