I use a power sander for all delicate PF work.... 
Anyways....
Lloyd had correctly diagnosed 2 issues I recently had with a pin that was behaving erratically.... Over the Internet- with limited details! Saved me countess stress....I'd take his advice.
And, when you come here and ask for help- I'm a bit surprised at your response?
