Surely, this has been discussed but I can't find it.

I'm new to EMs and have a project needing lots of cleaning. How am I supposed to clean score reels with brittle paint? If there's no good way, like I assume, how are people repairing numbers?

Thanks

Kind of shocked none of the decal mod makers around here make stickers to put right over them.

Thanks

And yes, Williams Grand Prix

Quoted from Inkochnito:

I've got the file on my website http://www.inkochnito.nl
Look in the Williams (red) section for score reel numbers.
There is a 3 inch and a 4 inch version.

Awesome, thanks!

So, some of my reels didn't need any new numbers, some needed 1 or 2, some needed a lot more. Because I didn't want to have some white reels, and some old yellowed, I had my sister print out your numbers on her Cricut and manually applied them were needed. Size isn't perfect, but it looks great! It just took a few nights sitting in front of the TV to apply them all.

The 9 is original, obviously. Everything else is replaced, including the background reel.

Are you sure they are printed at 100% size?
I've had the reel in my hand when I made this file and matched up perfectly.
This kind of thing happens when you adjust the print to fit to page.
It really should be "do not adjust to paper size"...

When using a Cricut, we had to convert it to a different format, so we had to play with it a bit trying to match it up. It only measures to 2 decimals and we were trying to get 3.
