    Quoted from Vino:

Vid, wading through the thread again and looking for clarity on waxing brand new NIB home use only games.
Seems some new collectors can get a bit too obsessive on the subject from what I read including supplies, protectors and waxing everything out of the box.
Been thinking 500 or so plays I’m still ok on a brand new clear coat from factory vs. an older or routed game.
Am I on track here or way off the rails?

    Quoted from Vino:

    Thx for clarification Law

Yeah I think it comes down to what's the harm vs time etc etc. I mean...why not if you have it.
Funny that post mentions a NIB MET which I had and never waxed, and it was totally fine. But hey you have the wax laying around I just do it now.
And I, like you, am not obsessed with getting a machine and wrapping everything in bubble wrap so it's safe.

    Quoted from BallyWilliams:

And everyone tells me to use novus2 on heavy dirt...if not where do I use it ?

You can clean your plastics with it. But you can also clean your PF with it. It gets out heavy ball marks because it's an abrasive. But as stated you run the risk of of damaging the paint if the area is missing pain or has it flaking etc.

    1. I read a comment to not buy white rubbers from Pinball life. Any recommendations on where to purchase?

    Quoted from Reznnate:

Has anyone used 'spray away' on non-reflective/coated glass?

I've seen some mention that it's too harsh but never heard anyone expand on it.
    But I use it yes.

Novus 1 probably wont do anything to that.

It is what it is...they'll always be the pro vs anti novus 2 opinions.

    #1683 6 months ago

If you're a wax user, I think the point is if you keep it cleaned and waxed, you wont need to use Novus 2.
Napatha is good & personally, I've been using Novus 2 for a long time & I'm not afraid of it.

In respect to Vid since it's his thread, I must let you know novus 2 is abrasive and it's like sandpaper because it's so abrasive and it's abrasive like sandpaper like the sky is falling abrasive.
