Lot's of great Stern games that could be made........ Nugent, catacomb, meteor, Starz,... etc.
$4500 retail would make them fly off the production line.
500 units would be on the high side for production, IMHO. Under $5000 would put them at the price level of a Pro. I don't think the idea here is to sell thosands of units at a *reasonable* cost. Why work that hard when you can make great margins selling to the select few who will pay it?
Not saying I necessarily agree, but financially it makes since.
See Whoa Nellie.
Quoted from vid1900:Don't forget, they don't have to use Spike.
That Alltek board that has every Classic Stern and Classic Bally game on it costs $35 to manufacture. Stern could quickly run these off with only the Classic Stern games on board.
My guess is that SPIKE costs less than that.
Quoted from cooked71:Where to begin...
Honestly thoAZ wsugh, Ive never played one....(were they ever delivered to Australia?).....so cant comment on the gameplay. Are they the same layout/rules as the regular version?
Different rules, different layout. Fun games though, really.
