Is it just me or isn't this very peculiar?

Did Gary go back to his former self and revealed the future that in turn inspired the Classic Stern DMD logo? I'm baffled!

Where have Gary been?

I want what the op is on

I'm trying to make sense of this and from what I'm thinking is that the OP is having a time of his life and after looking at the flyer for back to the future he believes gary stern is doc brown and has built a time machine out of a delorean. With that in mind OP thinks post 2000s gary went back in time to the 70s/early 80s to tell young gary about the stern dmd logo image (resized).jpg which was the reasoning behind the original stern logo which is seen in the first picture on the flight 2000. He then thinks that was the reason why data east (stern) was the first to have dmd's in their pinball machines.

Wow that was a mouthful to understand

I think the OP's point is that the "Stern" logo on 1980 Flight 200 is printed as dot matrix. Stern (Data East) did not start using dot matrix displays until 1991 Checkpoint. Hence the Back to the Future reference. Did Gary go back in time to set up the DMD looking logo, after the fact. I think, anyway.

Doh! Are you sure?!

Please don't take this post seriously, it was just meant as a conspiracy joke, Doc Stern did not take the DeLorean back in time...

I could see that. A lot of signs at the time used incandescents to form words. Think carnival rides.
