Depends what your playfield looks like outside of the mylar. If you have planking, your risk is much higher you will lift art up with it.
It might make more sense to cut the lifting parts off. If you can, follow a solid black line.

Just be careful with the pressure of the blade. Only enough to cut the Mylar.
You can overlap if you want, but it will look better if you can butt the new Mylar up to the old.
Take a piece of paper, lay it on the playfield and trace the line of the original Mylar. Now you have a template for the new.
Any touch ups you do can be waxed. Just let the paint cure for a day, then wax, then Mylar.

Need some help 1812 fans.

I have a column of lights out on the playfield that I just can't figure out. The column in question is the very first in the lamp matrix with the Shoot Again, Bottom LED on the bat sign, and all the way down that column.
I have gone through Caly's guide on system 3 pertaining to this and I know lamps and switches are connected in the switch matrix. However, All of the switches in that column work fine: The 3 left bank standups, the right ramp opto, the coin switches; all in the switch column matrix work fine.
I checked all the transistors on the driver board, but they all test good.
I checked the diode boards under the playfield too and those all test good.
So, the only other thing I can think of is a shorted lamp socket? putting a continuity test to a few (grave, droor prize and one of the Zom B's lights) I get connectivity from the tab to the base. Looking at the socket, I don't see where this is touching.
If anyone has some insight to this, please let me know.

Quoted from AnIrishGent:

Can anyone provide the part number for the Lane Guide Pyramid POSTS located middle upper playfleid?

It's called a "Tent" lane guide. You'll need to measure what size, but I think PBR has what you need: http://pbresource.com/rollover.htm
