I have seen this bidding thing before on craigslist. You are right - WTF?!
My new thing is to let others fight, fuss and drive a million miles to see tons of junk to get one good deal. I wait and pay will them a premium for them to find the needle in a hay stack.
I don't have time and energy to compete with the flippers or amateurs and would only buy from them if I exhausted all my pinsider connections and they had exactly what I want. I would gladly pay them a premium to not have to deal with the Craigslist rat race.
ah thats too bad. I called the guy on this yesterday (before he made it an auction) and seemed to be a nice dude. Said he had a guy coming to look at it today. I asked for some more pictures and he told me that this particular game was on youtube and to check it there. Has some pretty horrible wear on the left side by the ramp.
