Just got home at 1am and work is at 6
Who needs sleep when you have Pinball?
Got the ol’ girl on her legs for the first time in who knows how long! Playfield fits perfectly, what a relief.

The lockdown brackets were bent, which was expected since it took such a massive hit. Took them off and bent them back, they sat perfectly with just some crude shaping.

The legs were tough to get on, the back ones didn’t want to thread. Took some persuading!
Playfield is filthy as you can see, it took all my energy not to strip it immediately! I’ve been wanting to tear it apart so badly, but I’ve forced myself to reassemble and test it. I know in the long run it will save my hours of headaches. Plus I can find any potential issues that may be lurking in it... Clearly this game was played a lot!
Just based on what I saw when I first received it, along with the odd things I found when I disassembled and inspected it. I’m assuming the kickouthole to the hostile flipper is bad. Probably the coil. And it appears that uptown must have been broken since there were no balls in it. It’s got some broken stand ups and the upper flipper is seized.

I didn’t get a chance to even fire up the self test, because upon mounting the head, I realized my woodworker either forgot, or disregarded the holes for the displays! Granted, when I received it the hardware was already stripped off the head, so I actually didn’t realize this game sat on hinges so the head could fold down! I’m relieved since I had been wondering why it had seemed to be made for hinges. The brackets for the head were in the coin box along with all the hardware! So I removed the head and I will drill those necessary holes tomorrow or Friday! Then I can finally hook this chica up!

So excited to see if it still works and what the tests have to report!
Sidenote, the last picture here shows that one of the inserts popped out when the game exploded on the ground. Any suggests to get that sucker back in?
