My ringmaster isn’t moving, and I’m getting 4 ringmaster related errors

1) check switch 42 ringmaster up
2) check switch 43 ringmaster mid
3) check switch 44 ringmaster down
4) ringmaster error no motion

I moved the ringmaster up and down with my hand in switch test and the three switches appear to be working properly. All fuses test good. The runs when hooked up directly to a 9v battery

Anyone have any ideas where to go from here ?

Possibly a bad LM339 on the bi-directional motor board, I'd start with a Voltmeter and / or logic probe there during the RM tests.

Is your coin door closed? Are your flashers working? If not check fuse F107.

When I first got my CV, it had some broken wires inside the bundle for the Ringmaster, similar to the common problem on the Balrog on LOTR.

It seems like there is a broken wire between the power driver board and the bi-directional motor board (see pic).

I couldn’t find I break after a quick inspection, but when I jump this pin to ground it works fine. Also, what wire gauge is this wire ?

Is this wire a ground at all times ? Or is it controlled by the computer ?

check your set screw. a couple months ago mine came loose and the ringmaster wouldn't move but the motor was spinning. you cant hear the motor even with the glass off. I tightened up the set screw on the motor shaft and everything was back to normal...sometimes its the simple things.

Looks to be the ground wire, not controlled and I believe you have found your issue.

I believe U20 on the power driver board controls that ground. Check the schematics.
