Bally, 1997I see that you can buy aftermarket inline fuse kits for Addams Family to prevent the magnets from locking on and damaging the playfield.
Does CV need these sort of aftermarket fuses installed to protect its three magnets? Or did Bally/Williams build adequate protection into Cv? They had several years to learn from Addams family.

If you clean and shield the High Power Board for the magnets you will not have any issue with the magnets staying on. The black metalic dust generated from the Thing Flipper falls onto the high power board causing the magnet issue. Simple maintenance can prevent that from happening. You can shield the board with a Non conductive shield (card board, plastic ect...) that will protect it from the dust.
