My Cirqus Voltaire is having some canon problems...

As you know, in the head, it has a canon that fires a ball. Well, it wasn’t working in all cases. The thing is, it sometimes worked. And it seemed to work in the exact same spots every time and not work in the exact same spots every time. I hope that makes sense. Like in one situation, the side show, you’re supposed to hit the flippers and fire the cannon as many times as you can. It didn’t work here at all. And when the “Boom” rises on the lower right of the playfield, every time the ball hits it, it’s supposed to fire the cannon. It didn’t work there at all either. But there some other situations that fire the cannon, and they worked every time.

Any ideas/thoughts/advice anyone?
