Replace the chip. Your game is doing exactly what mine did when I got it. Slow hits registering, quick hits being ignored. Never a problem since I replaced the chip.
Quoted from MichaelMullen:Ok. Question. I just went into settings and I don’t have the auto edy board on/off setting. I think my game version is 1.1 From some quick research, it looks like version 2.0 would have this adjustment.
Will that chip still fix it ?
You might also need a new game ROM, in that case.
Quoted from MichaelMullen:So how do I install the 2.0 rom ?
Is it as simple as just replacing the 1.1 chip with the 2.0 chip ? Or is there more steps ?
Normally, that's it.
