Greetings I have a Flight 2000 I've been working on I have a question on board installation. The boards have 2 sizes of mounting holes and 2 corners are larger with a bare metal backing. Is this for grounding? I also found 1 connector with what look like some heat issues. should i re-pin just the burnt ones or the entire connector

Looks like you have the MPU installed upside down. Rotate it 180 degrees and use the lower left mount spot for grounding. Alltek is justified to the bottom. The upper right ground screw down would not be used. J5 should be across the top of the MPU so it can match up with the ribbon cable to the board on the left wall.

Yes you should repin that plug unless someone already has done so. The male pins need inspected and replaced if needed too as they usually burn up at the same time as the female contacts.
