Hi all, after one of these wagons from 2006-2009 here in Australia. Just wanting to know if a standard pinball fits in there, and hopefully if a widebody does.
If someone here has one and could measure the minimum distances for me of the opening i would very much appreciate it.

There’s an article on pinwiki that answers these questions

    #3 1 year ago

Thanks mate, i'll try searching it up.

Aaahhh, not so much, am i looking in the wrong place?

Is this the article you meant? It doesn't address my question as far as i can see.

In North America the wagon you have is a 'Magnum', which is listed below what you posted.

Thanks mate, i don't have it otherwise i'd just measure. Was hoping someone else here had one and could tell me.

    I'll have another look.

It’s 38” wide at the top and 43” at the bottom. 39” between the wheel wells inside, and 26 1/4” tall.

Thanks mate, exactly what i needed to know.

Wont fit and from my experience the transmission will give out. Magnum RT Hemi, worst purchase ever for me!

    #10 1 year ago

No problem. Magnum SRT8 running strong with no issues.

Thanks guys if it won't fit it's no use to me. Pity, they are the only modern car i like. I don't want to drive my old Rampside all over the country with pinballs in it.

pinbot fit in the magnum. Hows Rodney Rude doing?

    #13 1 year ago

I tried measuring a machine and if the above dimensions are correct, it's the height that's gunna do me in. I was actually looking for a Chevy C10-20 van with a Starcraft fitout. There's bugger all available here and the import process is a pain.

Haven't heard much from Rodney lately, how's Bill Cosb.... never mind.

Those early hemi’s have cam issues

Go for a 6.0 Holden Ute instead

My Murano is 30” tall at the opening. And it JUST fits a “standard” B/W game. I know anything over 30” just won’t fit, and the others barely fit. If the wagon is 28”, you’ll be disappointed.

I have a Holden ute now. That's what i'm trying to replace. i don't fish, shoot and 4wd anymore or tow a boat, so i'd like to be able to cart pinnies under cover.

The #1 criteria is it must be cool.

That truck in your photo looks like an Isuzu. GM rebadged the Rodeo for Australia?

    #18 1 year ago

Correct, 2.8 turbo diesel Isuzu engine. Been a great truck, has 380K km's on it but it's getting a little rust and they keep wanting to knock it back for rust.

Back to the vans now, we can only get imports easy if they are pre 89, but Chev and Dodge never brought their vans into Australia, so they are really hard to find.
Transits are here but in Oz you are either a Holden or Ford guy (like there i guess) and i'm GM.

    Don't like driving this every day;

    That’s an Isuzu.

    (As someone pointed out)

Get yourself a Maloo R8 and be done with it!

None of the new cars appeal to me at all except the Chrysler. I'll be looking at vans now i guess, or maybe another 4wd ute but with a fibreglass canopy to rainproof.
