I agree, but I think this just shows how some people have dramatically-different tastes in games.
I think the lack of love for TRS is the result of Stern dropping the ball. Some themes are "no-brainers" in terms of being universally appealing, so Stern could have easily hit it out of the park with TRS had they made a decent game, but that's not what happened. Even the call outs sound like an American pretending to have a British accent. And the plastic Jagger dancing around the playfield is equally goofy. On top of that, they licensed odd, non-studio versions of the songs. At every turn, TRS is full of compromises.
