Please choose, only 5, from the list below. As a refresher, and to give them all a fare shake, I've listed them all (I hope).

    AC/DC
    Austin Powers
    Avatar
    Batman
    Big Buck Hunter
    CSI
    Elvis
    Family Guy (or rebranded)
    Harley Davidson
    High Roller Casino
    Indiana Jones
    Iron Man
    Monopoly
    NASCAR
    NBA
    NFL
    Pirates of the Caribbean
    Playboy
    Ripley's Belive it or Not!
    RollerCoaster Tycoon
    Sharkey's Shootout
    Spider-man
    Striker Xtreme
Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines
The Brain (Only 1 made, I think.)
    The Lord of the Rings
    The Rolling Stones
    The Simpsons Pinball Party
    The Sopranos
    Transformers
    Tron Legacy
    Wheel Of Fortune
    World Poker Tour
    X-Men

Just curious what your top 5 Stern games are!

    -Aaron

    TSPP
    LOTR
    SM
    IM
    Tron

To be fair, I haven't played X-men yet. I've played all other Sterns including LEs.

Elvis is a fantastic game and I struggled with it over Tron. I prefer the gameplay of Elvis and will likely get an Elvis before Tron, but the music and tight rules really work for Tron so I have to keep it in the top 5. I know I'm a rare breed, but I prefer IM over Tron. With IM, you have the added pressure of trying to get all the characters on one ball to start Do or Die. No other game offers that intensity.

    Cheers,
    Duane

    Spiderman
    LOTR
    Tron LE
    XMen
    IM

I think AC/DC is a solid game on the few plays I had on it but prefer IM over it. But again, not enough plays. TSPP absent my list, feels like a toy when playing (flippers) and missing voices. Owned and respect code, but not a top 5 Stern in my book. Others opinion will vary. And FG has no business on a top 5 list in pinball - terrible game. I can see argument for TSPP but not FG.

    #5 7 years ago

    TSPP
    LOTR
    SM
    FGY
    TRON LE

Jury still out on AC/DC but likely to bump FGY from the list

    #7 7 years ago

Well, pulling from my own ratings, I say...
    SM, LOTR, XM, IM, TSPP

    Class dismissed.

    #10 7 years ago

    1) SM
    2) LOTR
    Gap.....
    3) AC/DC LE
    4) WPT
    5) Elvis

X-Men will probably overtake one of the bottom 3 once the code is worked out.

    Lotr
    xmen
    Spiderman
    ripleys
    tron

    #12 7 years ago

    LOTR
    SM
    TSPP
    TRON
    POTC

Like others said I have not played X-men yet so?

    #14 7 years ago

    TSPP
    LOTR
    FGY
    RBION
    SM

    Quoted from badbilly27:

    Screw you man, screw youuuuuu.

    #16 7 years ago

    1) Spiderman
    2) Tron LE
    3) AC/DC LE
    4) Iron man
    5) Lord of the rings

If xmen had scoring and a few code clean ups I'd have listed it in there but not sure where yet.
    Runners up, in order:

    Bdk
    24 - with latest code
    Avatar
    Potc
    TFLE

    #18 7 years ago

    LOTR
    POTC

(a long distance to any others)

    TSPP
    SM (meh)

I wonder how many people listing X-men have even played it enough to judge? People tend to rate new games higher or based on theme.

So many games with unfinished code.

    Why isn't Shrek your #4?

    LOTR

    IM
    POTC
(Have not played X-Men yet but looks like something I may like.)

    Tron LE
    LOTR
    SM
    IM
XM or AC/DC (too soon to tell which I'd prefer)

    #28 7 years ago

I Think it's too early to add X-men into this, but I think it could potentially be a Stern top 5!

    1. Tron LE
    2. IM
    3. LOTR
    4. AC/DC (in any format IMO, Pro, LE, Premium)
    5. SM

    In no particular order -

    SM
    ELVIS
    IM
    TSPP
    POTC

    I haven't played Xmen

    #33 7 years ago

I think LOTR was the only pin on everyone's list (except one)

    My list:

    LOTR
    Tron
    IM
    Ripley's
    WPT

Have not played AC/DC or X-men

    #34 7 years ago

    SM
    LOTR

    AC/DC PREMIUM/LE
    POTC

Wow. Crazy how many people don't even have TSPP in their top 5.

Love the game, but the theme and awkward layout make it tough it compete with the others.

Wouldn't even crack my top 12. Game doesn't interest me at all. Guess I'm getting too old for cartoons.

Basing my judgment out of all the Sterns I played and not including most of the new ones in which I have not played it would be the following in which my decision is mostly based on the entire game play or flow of the game and a little extra notes just for fun:

1.) Spiderman (I just enjoy all of the ramps in this game with the three flippers)
2.) LOTR (I think this game has so many great shots that never gets old and is complex as well)
3.) Elvis (I think this game has great flow and is always just fun to play. The ramps and three flippers with upper playfield is different)
4.) AC/DC LE which I played or the Premium which I have not played (but not the Pro version which just is boring to me and makes it hard to understand how they can even make this version when the other two are so much different when you play them. Still not sold on lower playfield and big Angus face on design)
5.) High Roller Casino (I may be the first to mention this but I just remember enjoying playing it when it was at Gameworks back in the day. I liked the roulette wheel which allowed you to bet and reminded me of the Who Dunnit game a little. On a side note I tend to like the games which are not from a movie, TV, music, or cartoon show. I wish they would make a new themed game again but probably not in order to make more money with big name titles. We all know Gameworks and Dave N Busters no longer have pinball machines and only the same video game fighting with guns virtual or ticket games)

Aaron thanks for starting this topic so I just had to start one for the worst top 5 pinball machines Stern has made just so we can see the difference.

    #47 7 years ago

    Tron
    Lord of the Rings
    AC/DC LE
    Pirates of the Caribbean
X-Men LE (played a ton of it last night and dug the hell out of it)

I need to play more Simpsons Pinball Party. The one at my local arcade usually has issues.

I've tried many times, but I just can't get into Spiderman. There, I said it.

    #48 7 years ago

    1. LOTR
    2. TRON LE
    3. X-Men LE (Until code is finished)
    4. SM
    5. Simpsons

Just a opinion...X-Men could bump Tron if code completes.

Replace my Simpsons with POTC for 5.
