I might go look at an EM Stern 'Pinball', and was wondering if it has real 3 note chimes? Or the crappy doorbell like some CCI games?

Duh! I found a picture on IPDB of the innards....

3 chimes it is! Any opinions on gameplay?

It's actually pretty fun. PHoF in Vegas has one. I always play it a few times whenever I am there.

Have played the 1 at PHoF.. The hardest part regarding 'Pinball' is ordering parts and talking to others about the game.
Statement.- "I have a Stern Pinball, I would like a rubber ring kit".
Answer - "Which Stern game do you have?"

I just purchased the Solid State version of this game and it's got four chimes and sounds great. Plays a quick tune when the game starts up. As far as game play, I find my ball times are suprisingly short (which to me is a good thing).
