Long shot. Anyone available to help get a machine out of a basement in the grayslake area tomorrow or Sunday morning? It's not a wide body! I'll of course pay for your time! My car can fit it - I just don't have the muscle myself to wrangle it up stairs
PM me, I in Round Lake, have Escalara will travel.
When X Men came out the rule set was very unfinished. By the time the updates came out it had a bad rep. By the time the fixes came out it too late. Stern shot themselves in the foot putting such a unfinished rule set out in a game.
Genie and AMH for sale in market place. Can deliver to Expo this weekend
Genie $1600 clear coated Pf.
AMH $6900 some mods.
Quoted from Davidus56:
I have a purchase question. A pinsider with no history or reputation is offering up the sale of a pin from his collection. He is very far away, so I would have to pay for shipping. How do you know if the seller is going to actually ship after they get your money? Basically, is this one of those deals that you should pass on if you can't pick it up yourself?
He wouldn't get paid until you received the game as discribed.
Come on Neo, don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel about JJP games.
I was in Wisc. yesterday. If you like Haunted Castles and Zombie Monsters? You might want to start saving your nickles and dimes now for ACHC.
You already know the game is not working. So put your parts list together:
3 flippers kits
3 pop bumpers
7 standup targets
hard to find talking head parts (Rudy)
New Play Field
New plastic set
and what ever is missing.
Add it up plus tax and shipping.
Depending on your experience, any where from 45 hours to 160 hours of labor.
Better off IMO to seek out a good used game for $4500 to $5000. If you want to learn how to build a pinball machine this is for you.
Flame suit on.
I have no ill will against Mike. I just think his starting point is joke.
Quoted from GAP:
First we said its a project. second, we priced it as 2500 obo. Adding up the parts your talking $1750 in new parts maybe a little more maybe a little less. If you refurbished some parts your talking less. CPU, glass, legs, playfield , side rails, translite, switches, targets, plastics DMD, decals, pop bumpers. All said and done you have a refurbished game with a lot of new parts at $4250 to $5000 with your labor. If you offer me $2100 you would be in it for less. I would think you could get $5500 + down the road. If you don't want to do the work then this is not the machine for you and you can buy a used game not refurbished, but shopped out for $4500 to $5000 like the guy said.
Some people like to redo games and that's what this is.
That's a very conservative $1750 amount.
It would cost $1400 just for pf, cab decals and plastic set, with tax and shipping. Oh Fun House doesn't have a DMD.
I think the day of restoring a game and losing your arse are over with. Restoring and free labor still exists.
Good luck with your sale.
Correct me if I am wrong:
White wood = Designer/Engineer build to test concept.
Sample Game had art included and put on a test location check bugs and flaws to be corrected before production started. At this point things could be removed to cut costs or posts added to prevent ball traps. Inserts colors could be changed, plastics art work and ball play physics. Some Sample games had toys on them that were removed from the production games. Such as Doctor WHo, Scared Stiff and Earth Shaker come to mind.
Don't ask, tell him you need a time to come over and pick up your property. If he asks, just tell him your moving on.
Be firm and don't give him options. If he try's to side step the issues tell him "that's unacceptable ". It's your property take control over the situation.
AC/DC Pro with Helen kit up for trade. Looking for a Mustang or Munsters. Will make a donation to Pinside if a trade happens.
Redskin is a flipper who moved to Ohio. Has family here where he stores games. He does pay a decent amount to help him out moving games for him.
