Looking to sell a used Diner playfield. 60 big ones. Pick up prefered. In restorable shape, I should think
In case you (or someone you know) is coming to Pinfest in Allentown, I would take it.
Quoted from WildRover:Wish I had more room this game is so good:
I love listening to the podcast and hearing you rave about a game, only to see it listed a few days later. Living that #noboltlife!
(love the show. thank you!)
Apologies for the Chicago question (not a trade/sell question), but this seemed like the best place to ask!
Heading to Chicago next week for a business trip and will have time Wed afternoon & evening to play some pinball. I'll be staying near millenium park. Thinking Headquarters in the late afternoon and then off to Logan. I think Enterrium will be too far away for me to get to.
Any other ideas? Any tournaments Wed or Thurs night? Pizza recommendations also welcomed
thanks!
I appreciate all the suggestions. Thank you! And this one is so true...
Quoted from yancy:Deep dish is for tourists, and since you're a tourist in this case, I recommend Pequod's.
...I've heard so many mixed/negative reviews from locals but I gotta try it.
Can I get malort (I fully expect it to taste like garbage) in every bar? Or do I have to seek it out?
Post-chicago trip report...
The deep dish at Giordano's and Lou Malnati's were both quite good. Different, but I'd give a slight edge to Lou's.
Logan Arcade was even better than expected. Very cool spot with an excellent mix of games. I think Pulp Fiction might get old eventually, but it is definitely a cool game.
Headquarters Beercade was an unexpected surprise. ~20 immaculate modern games ALL ON FREE PLAY!? I'm not sure if it is always this way, but I really was able to get my feet wet on Venom.
Topped off the trip with a show at Second City, a Potbelly's sandwich, and some Garrett's popcorn.
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions - your help made it a great trip. Fortunately, didn't have any malort!
Quoted from nascarrey:Ah you avoided the 'Chicago Handshake'!
True. But I did have an Old Style...out of respect.
Quoted from nascarrey:Next time- you need to make the trip out to the Galloping Ghost in Brookfield.
They have a seperate pinball location-

But you have to see the video game collection a few blocks west.

Totally. Would love to!
