OK my Twilight Zone is officially for sale. I need to take photos of it which I won't be able to get to do until the weekend at the earliest which is why I'm not posting a FS ad yet other than posting in this group to give the members of this thread/group first crack at it.
TZ playfield is a 9 and the cabinet is probably an 8.75. Fully working, been in my home for 15 years and had low mileage before that. No broken plastics at all. Clock has holes drilled in the top. No mods other than a bracket installed to prevent the slot machine target from bending. Has the 9.4H rom installed.
I'm including the following extras with it.
NOS Clock (this is NOS but isn't boxed and has a scratch on the front lens (easily replaceable) which is how I got it years ago)
NOS plastic set
2 NOS powerballs
various NOS clock plastic gears
remote battery holder installed
Asking $6600 OBO. I need the money so no trades except I'd take a really nice Gottlieb Mars God of War in partial trade to knock some money off the price. As much as I'd like another newer Stern or something I am selling the game to pay for much needed home repairs.
I'll post photos as soon as I can take them. Anyone interested beforehand that is close to my area (Downers Grove, IL) is welcome to come and check it out in person.
Just played this fine example last weekend and it treated me more than alright!
I have a gottlieb Humpty Dumpty, bad backglass, the rest is good, assuming it won't work straight outta the gate: $600
I also have a Williams space mission, also assumed not working but complete: $400
I'm horrible with pics b/c they're buried and I pulled those prices out of my ass, but if you're interested, pm me we'll dig them out for a look
Gottlieb flying carpet project, no backglass $100
Gottlieb jungle king project, shit backglass $150
Empty Indiana jones cabinet- $200
Empty twilight zone cabinet- $200
Empty Bally rolling stones cabinet-free
Captain fantastic home model:
Untested, you might think that I tested it, and it didn't work, but no it's really a crapshoot
I have a couple blank demo man cabinets only, no heads, would like them out. 75$ each?
I'm still trying to off-load a couple of empty demo man cabinets, if anyone is interested. Maybe just take me out to dinner
Quoted from CaptainNeo:
but if I said, I had a nice Alien poker for $5500 then I would have to make an ad.
Disclaimer: Technically Alien Poker is not for sale, but if you shit money, there is no such thing as not for sale.
I have found money in my stool, but not consistently enough to purchase machines.
Also, have a haunted house pinball game: 2k
Atari space riders, someone painted the cab black. I started to remove it, looks like the art is ok underneath, worked -$650
Truck stop: $1600?
Williams dealers choice: needs to be shopped, not the prettiest $300
Still have these for sale:
Dealer's choice: $300
Reminder, I know I'm tough to deal with
Still have these for sale:
Dealer's choice: $300

I am just gauging interest to see if anyone in the area would be in interested in having any parts sprayed chromed. The auto-body place that does my playfield clear coating will be doing spray chrome soon. I am planning to send him a few things to see how it looks. If it looks cheap or "not Chrome-like" no big deal on the parts as I was going to replace them anyway. But if it works.....Oh the possibilities are endless!!
Can you do a whole playfield?
Quoted from BackFlipper:
Going to list 3 games this evening. Nice players condition Space Jam for $1500. Everything works perfect. Nicest Party Zone you'll ever see for $2500. And Collectors condition Flintstones updated to Cartoon Version with Color DMD, clear coated playfield, and updated Flintstones cartoon art - $4K. PM if you want to see them at my home in Batavia, IL. Again, I will have pictures and place ads this evening. Jim
Nicest party zone I've ever seen

Any one recommend an at-home repair tech that will service the Aurora area? I think Gavin got scared either by how fa rI was or that I asked what his hourly rate was. havent gotten a reply in over a month, oh well.
Need some one to come trouble shoot my HH mostly. My trap door opens, but when the ball goes into the lower playfield, it doesnt energize, and then when it pops back up, neither does the main playfield. Also have a display getting dimmer and dimmer with time.
I just dont have the time. I can clean and shop games, and fix minor issues, but when it comes to detailed trouble shooting, I just dont have the time any more. Bums me out, but instead of just selling all my machines and getting out, Ill try and see if I can get some one over. Still love to play, and love the fact I have access to great games in my own home. HH is my grail.
You could try Gavin again, his responses are are a weak spot
Quoted from dhard:
That things iconic now he should double the asking price and it would probably sell in a heartbeat as someone would probably think it's really worth something
I meant I was getting my dick sucked by someone dressed as a clown
In case the nuance was lost on any body
Quoted from GAP:
First we said its a project. second, we priced it as 2500 obo. Adding up the parts your talking $1750 in new parts maybe a little more maybe a little less. If you refurbished some parts your talking less. CPU, glass, legs, playfield , side rails, translite, switches, targets, plastics DMD, decals, pop bumpers. All said and done you have a refurbished game with a lot of new parts at $4250 to $5000 with your labor. If you offer me $2100 you would be in it for less. I would think you could get $5500 + down the road. If you don't want to do the work then this is not the machine for you and you can buy a used game not refurbished, or buy shopped out for $4500 to $5000 like the guy said.
Some people like to redo games and that's what this is.
I’d offer you something, but I hate funhouse
I would be down the road maybe
Quoted from Draegermeister:
I want to do a fairly cheap EM re-theme for fun. LMK if you have a working, but beaten up EM in the $300 range. I plan on sanding off the art in total, so I don't care at all about planking on playfield or damaged cabinets. I am hoping for an ugly but functional machine, because it would be my first EM. Less than 2 hours from Chicago. That Target Alpha of racerx looks too nice for me.
I have a thrashed Aladdin’s castle
Not working though
Gweem is just trying to take the temp down, he’s good dude, mike(gap) is good dude, let’s all just be good to each other
I’m not exactly sure what we’re even talking about, as I too have had a few drinks
What is the elephant in the room? Honest question
. You never screw the only man in the world who can stick his finger up your ass.
That’s your choice
Quoted from vidgameseller:
Ill be working in Chicago area Saturday and will have my trailer, if anyone is looking to do some trading with some of my machines, let me know
Houdini, Pinball Magic, B/W AFM, WrestleMania, No Fear, WCS, Got Premium, players Sttng .
I also have a few NIB machines, AFMr, MET Pro, Rob Zombie
I’ll wrestle you for wrestlemania
