I have a very nice Stern POTC that I'm looking to trade for another Stern or modern pin. Only mods are a color DMD and white comet led's. Might as well change it up before I'm stuck at home for a while. Will get pics and throw it on the marketplace here in the next day or so. Willing to travel.
Interested in:
TSPP
GB
SM
JP
remakes
probably others...

Thanks guys
Michael

Looking to trade my Hobbit LE for something different. Will make the trip to Chicagoland to sweeten the deal.

Quoted from derekcharacter:

Hey there, just found this thread. If you're still looking, I live around Chicago and do machine hauls across the Midwest. I'll drive just about anywhere for a good deal.
I also do repair work, mostly around Chicago and Columbia, MO where I operate a few machines but my tools are always with me on the road.

I can vouch for Derek first hand. Though I'm not technically on his route I thought I'd drop him a line just in case. He was happy to go out of his way to come here and spend a full day doing all the repairs, updates, and tweaks that I haven't had time to do and in many cases I don't have the skills for.
He wanted to know ahead of time each item that needed to be addressed so he could do research before he arrived. That made his time here very efficient.
So happy that he was able to do so much in the time he was here. Looking forward to him stopping through again to do some more updates & "perfecting" of my machines. Considering his skill set I found his rate very reasonable.

Quoted from joemagiera:

Interesting. Can you give us a hint at what his rates are?

I'll let Derek comment on that or you could probably message him. I would just say that he was less per hour than any plumber or electrician Ive had at the house in the last few years.

Wish I could post a pic here but we passed a newer BMW suv heading North on 355 with its tailgate open. Looked pretty wild going down the road like that. I joked with the kids that he probably had a pinball machine in there. As we got closer, sure enough! Looked like a Transformers.
