Hi all. I'm new to the forum. I've started research to purchase a pinball machine for my basement to entertain my teenage daughters and their friends. And once their interest quickly moves towards something else, the game will be all mine to play. My budget is under 1k, so I'm thinking an EM is my best bet. Looking for a HUO Metallica Pro. Trying to avoid NIB if I can. Will soon be posting my beloved F14 Tomcat to fund this purchase (figure it's easier than getting a paper route).

Shoutout to Brian, aka gweempose, for helping me last night move my newly-acquired MET Pro to my basement. We couldn't get it down the stairs due to difficult turn so we had to label and remove all connectors. Stayed at my house until midnight to make sure everything was working.

Can anyone recommend a person to do some repairs on my Metallica? I live in the northern suburbs.

I'm the guy in need of help with my Metallica. I'm about one step up from "I need a guy to fix a burnt out bulb."
During play the game/ball abruptly ends. On the next ball, a second ball auto plunges. Toyotaboy and Gweempose, who are my pinball consiglieres, agree that it's a trough switch issue. I reseated the connectors to one of the trough opto boards and it's still behaving badly.

I have a HUO Metallica Pro with color DMD and Total Light Show (many other mods, too). Looking to trade for IMDN Pro or Deadpool Pro.

Chicago Pinheads: Seeing if there's interest in my Godzilla Pro for a Rush Premium:
May 2022 build (has Insider Connect). Machine went straight to my basement in June, 2022. About 1200 plays and counting. Zero dimpling (nice job, Stern!) I'm the only one who plays it and ready to move on to a Rush Premium. I recognize that I'll need to bring additional $$ to the table.
