I had it for a bit (7 weeks). It was not my cup of tea. It has changed hands quickly.
Good luck with the sale, I think you are the 5/6 owner at this time
Quoted from CaptainNeo:I have a friend looking for a dedicated Arkanoid arcade.
Arkanoid was only ever released as a conversion kit. So, he's looking for any Arkanoid cabinet?

Thanks for the history of the machine - game is cool but I'm a ramps and flow kind of guy - I am a large Tolkien fan so I thought the theme would win me over. Theme integration on this game is top notch however. Glad I got it and was able to try it out but need to replace it with a MM me thinks.

I actually was the 2nd owner. I bought it NIB from a guy in Rockford for 7600 in 4/19. It wasn't our cup of tea either. I hand delivered it to "JORANT" a bit over a year ago, in 2/20 it went for 74, he was owner # 3. The guy selling now is # 4. When I got it, it was minus any JJP updates, i.e. ramps, springs, etc. I did all of them and added the trough lighting. When I parted with it I'd rate the condition as 9.95 out of 10.
I too am sad to see it change hands so often. Oh ---- if it sold for 95, that is a price appreciation of almost 2K. Wish now I still had it NIB...

Looking for a Bally 6803 board. The one I have is pretty bad and I can’t find any new replacements. Working would be great but non working is ok if it’s not too bad.
If anybody in the Chicago area is interested in a trade (or making a cash offer) I’d be willing to drive to do a deal

Also looking to sell my original Ridge Racer sit down racing arcade game if anyone is interested.
All machines are located on the ground level and super easy load.
Chicago places to play advice needed if you don't mind. Heading down from the twin cities for a three day birthday weekend the 14th-17th.
Last time I was there I hit the Headquarters River North location as well as the Logan Arcade. Headquarters was perfectly fine, and easier to get to but Logan was easily my favorite of the two.
For this trip my wife and I are catching a show at the Den Theater - roughly half way from our hotel to Logan anyway. So planning on hitting Logan again, but notice that the Den is nearly across the street from one (the smaller?) of The Emporium locations.
So - stick to the plan and go the extra couple miles to Logan, or is the Emporium a good enough destination? Or abuse the fact that I can play the birthday (50th) card really hard and hit both?
Beside that - any other spots that someone shouldn't miss?

I would skip Emporium for Logan every time. Emporiums are more bars that have machines. Depending on the location the games are pretty busted up. I tend to skip the one at Logan Square entirely because it is depressing to me as a pinball fan.
Headquarters used to be a good place to go, but I have no idea the state of their games since they moved to a single location.
There's a new place that just opened up in Rogers Park called Mission Control (https://chicago.eater.com/2021/9/16/22674097/mission-control-arcade-bar-rogers-park-images-photos), but it wasn't open when I went two weeks ago, so I don't know much about it.

If you're willing to venture outside Chicago to the suburbs Galloping Ghost (Brookfield, IL) has a lot of pins you don't find very often on location and Enterrium in Schaumberg, IL has good food & drink and a good selection of machines to play.
where can I find the cleanest machines?
I remember hitting Logans and being disappointed by how dirty they were. Galloping Ghost was very clean and as stated had a rly unique selection of pins.

Galloping Ghost & Enterrium both have very clean machines in good working order.
Thanks for the advice - much appreciated.
Won't be renting a car, so sticking to trains and busses - google says roughly 90 minutes out to Galloping Ghost and or Enterrium. Probably going to pass on those for that reason this time. Have of course heard of Galloping Ghost though - it's definitely on my radar for future visits.
