Great event! This was my first Expo - based on the comments it sounds like I picked a good year to start attending!

I was pleased with the mix of games - I didn’t know what to expect from the attendee volunteered selection. I assume there is a level of “vetting” that occurs to avoid a bunch of duplicates - I only saw a couple. That said with how busy it got in the evenings, a few dupes probably wouldn’t hurt if available. I was also surprised to not see some of the more common games brought, but again I thought the available selection was great. I’m definitely going to try to bring a game next year.

Vendor area was cool with a good mix of the big distros and flea-market style. I’d like to generally see more vendors, but those that were here brought some good stuff.

The only point where the music bothered me was the first evening where it wasn't coming from the Stern booth - it was SO freakin' loud back by concessions that an entire row of games in front of the speakers were unplayable.

Music from the Stern booth was fine IMO, but to be fair I wasn't spending a ton of time in the Stern booth compared to the rest of the show floor.

Zach's EHOH was definitely the prettiest playable game. Definitely had the best apron card of any game there too

I was stoked to see the black and white TZ and Addams in person - they're super cool. Shame they weren't playable, but I totally get it - they're art pieces more than anything!

    Quoted from yancy:

Finally setup my TOTAN today after having it folded up since Expo. In case you're curious how many plays a popular title gets at a multi-day show, the count is 516. It was available to play from Wednesday afternoon until the power strips were taken away on Sunday, minus a bit of downtime for a ball that somehow got stuck in the vanishing magnet mech or the tunnel, can't recall.
Let's do it again in 10 months!

Hey that's a nice TOTAN! I made the mistake of only playing it a couple times before it got busy - wanted my wife to play it, but every time we walked by there was damn near a line! Thanks for bringing it!
