Sadly, shortly after he posted this photo we lost Jared to a coronary embolism.

But seriously thanks for the coverage and looking forward to more pics!

    Quoted from Jared:

I have such an epic headache.

Hey Jared it was nice meeting you up there. Did anyone ever beat my 12M on the left-hand game? We came back at 330a for a few rounds on the other machine, would have stayed even later but had to load out this morning.

    Quoted from Jared:

A few pinsiders pay paled me some money to say thanks. I used $12 of that money to buy the best hot dog I ever had in my life at Gene and Jude's.. And the rest wil go to cover my massive data overages.
I plan to come back to expo in 2015 with MULTIPLE cameras that can zoom and be able to actually switch angles mid presentation.... Also better HD quality and audio.
I would love to continue to offer this as a Pinside exclusive for the benefit of Pinside members. I enjoy it!
I have a ton of great photos to dump later, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone for the support, friendship and pats on the back. I really felt appreciated.

You have good taste in Chicago hot dogs. Glad you were able to stop in. Hopefully, you were coached or knew better than to ask for Ketchup. You can always tell how good the food is at a place by how long the line is or how packed the parking lot is. Photo below was from a winter morning just as it was opening. The place is packed most of the time. I try to stop in at Gene & Jude's every time I'm in the area. It was a favorite of Bally pinball, Bally Gaming and Bally Midway employees when their plants were all located within about five miles of River Grove.

Jared, just wanted to throw an idea for next year, if you happen to get resistance from the expo organizers.... obviously we've seen that all the big presenters saw a LOT of value in what you did, so I would do an end-run and contact Jack, Heighway, DP, etc, before hand, let them know you plan to do it again and would like their blessing.

We know their answer, so then you'll have the weight of them behind you should something come up.

With how big the ustream was this year, I think you'll be a little too high profile next year (especially if you'll have actual cameras with you), so I'd hedge my bets.

My concern is that sometimes the expo guys don't make the most logical decisions, and I'd hate for this to get shut down.

J, Great stuff last week. Were you able to view/glance Skit-B, EOD, Predator or any info about Funhouse 2.0? I'm sure the event was a whirl-wind. Enjoyed your videos of the EXPO a ton. THANK YOU

I saw predator with my own eyes yes, nothing on video. New plastics looked great, new lighting system looked neat. Not a fan of the layout or "fit and finish" of the game personally (preference). No info on Funhouse 2.0 only that it is in the works and will have a DMD.
