I have a Chicago Coin Top Ten pinball machine. When its on 2 players ball one player 2 scores on player one the rest score fine. The other problem is playing single player game it some times only moves one space on the ball count unit.

Just wanted to try this again. I don't have a schematic.
First problem is on a single player game the ball count unit has to pulse twice to go from ball 1 to ball 2. It then should pulse twice and go to ball 3. It randomly only pulses once. Does any one know what switches or what makes it pulse twice?
Second problem is on a 2 player game. On player 2 ball one the player control relay doesn't engage. The rest of the time it does on player 2.

I now have the schematic for the top ten. If there is part of it I could take a picture of to help someone with helping me find what 2 things make the ball count unit pulse twice on a single player game.

I'll need to see a high quality scan of the schematic from (for example) Staples ($2) or Kinkos ($6)

I was just going back over the machine and noticed on the c stack on the score motor might be wrong. My schematic and the chart on the side wall say it should be closed, closed, open, open but mine is closed, closed, closed, open. Does anyone know how there’s is?

Hi
If all else fails try this:
Manually turn the score motor and check the natural state of the switches, doing this a couple times you should see the states change, open and close etc.
Hope this may help

Just fixed the single player issue. It was the out hole relay switch was not always making good contact. Cleaned it and adjusted it. Now I’m still working on the issue with ball one on player 2 doesn’t score on player 2. It scores on player 1. I’ve noticed that the player control relay doesn’t energize on ball one but does on the rest. Ball 2 -5 score on player 2.
The other issue is with the spinner wheel doesn’t always score. Thanks for the help you’ll have given me so far!
