Someone that has a Chicago coin from 68-69 era I am trying to figure out the coin door buttons as someone
rigged up some stuff here on the Gun Smoke.
Want to go back to original...............

#1 was there a on/off power switch under the cabinet?
#2 Was the center button originally a coin return?
#3 And the button on the left a credit button?

There are currently NO guts inside the coin door

Right now the center button, someone added, just adds 3 credits when you push it
There is a momentary switch underneath cabinet left side that kicks ball to shooter lane
I guess I need to know how the CC works.

Turn a on toggle underneath to power up?
insert a coin and ball kicks out?
insert a second coin adds a credit or 2nd player?
Correct or not?
Pic with ugly button in middle is what I have
Other pic is what it should be

My 1963 Chicago Coin Texas Ranger Gatlin Gun is very similar to later model Chicago Coin arcades as the original toggle switch to power it up is on bottom right side of the cabinet when facing it, the center button is a coin return as mine has two buttons one for the dime slot and another for the quarter lined up directly under each coin slot. The button to the left is the credit button and you are correct about coining up each coin adds credits of play.

My machine is all original and never had the coin mechanism for the 10 cent play as it was only equipped with a quarter coin mechanism but the pics should give you an idea of what you need.
