I bought this machine a few months ago basically to save it. The backglass was broken but I have a new reproduction backglass that I paid $300 for this game. The cabinet is in great shape but there are some scratches on one side. Now for the playfield, it looks to be in almost perfect condition. It is dirty because there is no top glass but the artwork is fantastic, even the inserts look to be smooth and flat. All of the plastics are also perfect with no cracks and they are all completely flat. I know that I will take a loss on this game but I do not care, I really want this game to go to someone who will give it the attention that it deserves. I will add some pictures of this game to this thread when I get some time this weekend.
Here is a partial list of games that I would like to trade for.

CENTAUR, EIGHT BALL DELUXE, FATHOM, FLASH GORDON, IRON MAIDEN, LIGHTNING, MEDUSA, NINE BALL, NITRO GROUND SHAKER, SEAWITCH, SILVERBALL MANIA, SORCERER, STAR GAZER, STINGRAY, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, VIKING, VIPER, EMBRYON, MYSTIC, CATACOMB, FIREPOWER, INCREDIBLE HULK, MARS GOD OF WAR, FRONTIER, CHEETAH, DEFENDER, FIREBALL II, FREEFALL, MAGIC, MATA HARI, PARAGON, PHOENIX, QUICKSILVER, SKATEBALL, METEOR, SOLAR FIRE, HAUNTED HOUSE, SPACE SHUTTLE, VOLCANO, ELEKTRA, LOST WORLD, PHARAOH, TIME FANTASY, TRIDENT, VECTOR

I do realize that I will have to throw in some, to a lot of cash for some of these games. Project games are preferred.

Hula Hula is a great game. I just finished shopping mine out recently. Where did you find a repro BG? I didn't know anyone had done this.

There is a guy in Seattle named Garry that makes reproduction backglasses for Bally bingo's and some CCM games. If you want his email address just let me know, and I will send it to you privately.

Is this the same quality/process as Shay or Ron Webb uses?

I do not know, the re-pro backglass looks perfect from the front but you can tell that it is not silk screened from the back.

Gary Conway makes translites essentially. It's two sheets of film sandwiched between two pieces of glass. Some of the colors may be off a bit from original. They present well. I have owned a couple and was happy overall. They are a decent option when no silkscreen is available. For the money though I think you may be better offer pursuing something from Greatwich John or BGresto.com

Ok, Thanks guys. My original glass is not that bad (about a 9/10), so I will probably just stick with that for now. Always good to know what options are out there, though.

Hey, thanks for the info. The bad thing is, when I bought this game and looked at the picture on Craig’s list the backglass was not broken. The owner decided to "help" by moving the machine out into the front yard before I got there to buy it, and broke the backglass while doing so. It’s such a nice machine otherwise, except for being dirty; I could not pass it up. The reproduction backglass looks great and the rest of the machine should clean up very nicely.
Like I said I would like to partial trade if for a SS machine. I know that even though this machine is rare it is not worth a whole lot, especially with the repro backglass.

I have always liked Hula Hula. Similar art and great animation used in Gottlieb Paradise and Pleasure Isle. It's always fun to tell hardcore Gottlieb fans that Roy Parker did Hula Hula first.
