Chicago Coin Gin - Weird Start up behaviour. The game resets to 3 or 5 ball game, but does not kick the ball into the shooter lane. It doesn't score any points but counts the balls down to end of game. Then the Motor stops. Sometimes the the ball index relay was staying on, but that appears to have stopped.

Score reels are all at zero and the target are reset, bonus reel is at zero.

I don't see any stuck playfield switches

I have put a piece of paperl in ball trough switch and no change in behaviour.

I have access to the schematics and the machine. (I am helping a buddy out with his machine).

Any hints are where to focus would help.

I'll need to see a high quality scan of the schematic from (for example) Staples ($2) or Kinkos ($6)

Hi
Worth a try, I would work and check your jones plugs a few times, clean if dirty.

Looks like we found the issue. The bonus unit SU coil was burt out. and wasn't giving a single bonus on game reset.
