Quoted from scokes:

yeah I know Steve at bgresto has it. I also need a Bally Wiggler BG. But I can't afford the $220+ shipping per BG yet. once the table is in better shape maybe.
I am on the lookout for a new pf but it's been a few years since one popped up online. I have cleaned the sh!t out of this one but the previous owner really neglected it. right now, I have to wait for parts before I can get this one up and running.

There was an NOS Hee Haw playfield on e-bay for what seemed like years. 75 bucks as I remember. I guess it finally sold.

Quoted from Mopar:

Somehow I have 3 C.C. Hollywoods hanging around, and remember from shopping a couple years
back, it wasn't a bad player, and thought I'd go through one to put in a Friend's restaurant. So I dollyed
in the one that I got in all apart, fixed a bunch of wiring (amounst other things) and liked it's play so
decided to go through another for the game room. That's when I noticed there were differences with the
playfields. One is the caps for the plastics (both definitely factory), but mostly one had jones plugs
for playfield to bottom board, and the other had the white plastic plugins as what is used for the
head. Must be Hollywood is when Stern made the transition and went cheaper with plastic plugins for
the bottom board also. Maybe I have one of a few, but evidently not all Hollywood playfields are
interchangeable without extensive work..

Interesting. Have you checked the serial numbers?

Quoted from Mopar:

Yes, briefly, but hadn't noticed any in usual places. Nothing under the upper apron either..
Tomorrow I'll check in other places on the cab..

Found this on the serial number site.

"All CDI-Machines, at least from 1966 and upwards, have their number stamped in wood on the front,at the left side beneath the coin-door, and also on the left side of the head. (4 numbers)"

Quoted from Mopar:

I gave it a better check, and the one with jones plugs, playfield to bottom board,
number is 6806 The one with the white plastic plugins is 7257
I checked the 3rd Hollywood that I have and its number is 6451 and has the jones
plugs on bottom board..
I didn't see a listing on the amount manufactured, but must be between numbers
6806 and 7257 is when they made the switch to the cheaper playfield to bottom
board plastic plugins..
Years back I had a couple other Hollywoods, but can't remember the plugins, but I'd
say chances are the majority have the jones plugs, playfield to bottom board..

Thanks very much for the info.

That nutone “chime” looks irritating as hell. Wonder if there is a video out there to hear it.
