Quoted from Grayman_EM:Am I ok if I buy a Stampede but after they were bought by Stern? Since the machine is the same? Just how picky are we here?
I think most here still consider it a Chicago Coin game. I had one. Great backglass.
Help.... Looking for schematics or HD images of the underside of the playfield for 1968 Chicago Coin All Stars Baseball. Saw a picture on IPDB that shows 3 coils for controlling bat speed and it seems someone has replaced mine with a potentiometer.
Also, there currently isn't enough power to the bat to get a home run into left field. Keeps hitting just on the lip of the bleachers. I'm assuming this is the batting coil as I bypassed the potentiometer and put power straight to the coil with the same results.
One last one. Where's the best place to buy relay switches online? Some of mine are getting pretty worn down.
Hey Shuffman1 I have a Chicago coin baseball with the 3 coils for bat strength its a 1955 I can get a pic this Friday the 22nd
Where the plug is located to the far right is the weakest bat strength, all the way to the left the strongest
Looking for complete scoring stepper units for the "1 point" and "10 point" reels for a 1964 Chicago Coin "Royal Flash". It's a two-player game.
Just need the nylon actuator arm for both of these, but would also like to have some extra plastic score reels labelled "0-9", too.
Thanks a bunch,

Quoted from Mopar:I'm able to squeeze in the club. I posted a couple of these pics elsewhere, but they do fit here.
I actually have quite a few Chicago coin pieces, but these are the only pics I have loaded..
As I read, I see Gun Smoke is well liked. I had/have one stored for years. My room for pinball/arcade
is presently pretty much maxed out, but eventually may have to pull out the G.S..
I had a Casino stored also forever. It needs a backglass and much work, but it is complete.
I remember going through the 1963 Bronco. Built just like their Gun games and Bowlers. Solid.. (T)
thats the first time ive seen the world series shuffle. probably a lot more desirable than the bulls eye drop zone , which i have a copy of. Does yours have the marble feature for it? mine has a masked over spot and no marble dispenser to circumvent gambling im thinking. be nice to see a video of that world series.
Quoted from singlezero:thats the first time ive seen the world series shuffle.
The World Series is probably less seen than the Bulls Eye Drop Ball, and being
baseball themed, it probably would be more desirable, but as far as playability,
I can enjoy playing the Bulls Eye just as well, but with the World Series having
the light animated Men-Running-the-Bases feature, it does have more appeal..
Most likely the marble feature on the Bulls Eye was considered as a gambling
device, and picking it up from the original vendor right here in New York, it also
doesn't have the marble feature..
Not I, but a Friends girlfriend is good on shooting and loading videos, so I'll
see about getting a clip shot. Unlike Bulls Eye where you have a certain amount
of shots, the game is over on the World Series just as it is in baseball. After the
3rd out is made..
I'm hoping someone can help me. I picked up a Chicago Coin Company Riviera pinball machine. It worked fine before I moved it to a new home. No all it wants to do is click in the back box and the two coin compartments. Any help would be great, and if I need to get more info to anyone I will do so. Thank you in advance.
Just finished up the 1954 Chicago Coin Super Home Run, didn't restore, just got it working 100% as it's not mine.. I will try and get pic's today, when I stop in to start working on the 1955 Chicago Coin Bulls Eye Big League, the real challenge as someone before me cut open the wire harness.. I've seen bare wires and wires that are no longer connected to anything.. Going to be fun as I have yet to find a schematic.. Old em's can be frustrating at times, but Patience is the key to fixing them, along with a good schematic, if your lucky to find one..

Find out what is clicking in the back box, perhaps a score reel switch is out of wack or a mechanical unit is not resetting fully.
Quoted from nomo:Anyone in the Chicago Coin Club have an any relay armatures? I'm needing two 29-2512-3 armatures for a Prestige bowler. My current plan is to fabricate one out of printed circuit fiber board, Sure wish I had a pattern to copy!
Toasty! Got a photo showing what it should look like?
Quoted from PM_Jeremy:Toasty! Got a photo showing what it should look like?
Yes, very toasty! There is one more like it undamaged. I think I'll take it apart and use it for a pattern.
I just wanted to let those who are interested, Dave Mercer came through for me, found me a copy of a schematic for the Chicago Coin Bull's Eye Big League.. Between him and Steve I should have no problem getting it going once more..
Quoted from nomo:Yes, very toasty! There is one more like it undamaged. I think I'll take it apart and use it for a pattern.
So I made these two armatures. Yes, my lines are not perfect, but freehand with a dremel tool, what do you expect. But they seem to be working just fine. I purchased a piece of vulcanized fiberboard from Antique Electronic Supply for less than $6 with shipping!
This is for any CC'er that wants/needs a few paper score reels (12), only need to pay shipping or I can hold onto these until the Allentown Show, I can bring them with me. They need a little cleaning, they are 5" reels, mount using 3 screws and there are 3 alignment pins. One of them does have a slight tear noted in red in the pic. I pulled them from a CC 10th Frame Special Puck bowler. I compared them to the United Cascade Shuffle Alley I have and they would fit/work (only difference is the number font style)

Good repair!

If you are a newbie get a schematic. Only repair one problem at a time. Do not go thru the entire machine adjusting switches until you have some experience.
What is in NOT doing?

Initially the machine wouldn't reset when the counter hit 0000, now the dials will stop spinning but the score motor wont stop. If I manually actuate the "Game Start" switch bank up it will stop the score motor, but the game won't start. I have the schematic and some other pieces in my cart on marco.
It is likely one or two switches that are dirty or not adjusted correctly.
EMs have to be exercised regularly to keep the contacts clean.
If it has been sitting for a long time the contacts may be simply oxidized.
Using the schematic we can try to figure out what is happening. Or in this case, what is not happening.
I had a Sound Stage.....had a diode that went bad on the board with the encapsulated relays, that's how I obtained it.
took a while to figure that one out
Currently have a Gunsmoke that I restored

Awesome job!
There was one for sale several months ago in NY with a missing backglass, almost pulled the trigger on it.
Quoted from mrbanjo:Gunsmoke that I restored
That game looks sweet. Nice work!
I like the unusual out lane arrangement with the cone between the flippers.
CC pinballs are never overly complicated but they are always addictive to play.
I had Hollywood for a while and played the crap out of it.
I still have the sound stage.
CC is often pooh poohed by "real" collectors.
I think taken for what they are, they are often fun and like I said, simple but addictive to play.
Also, I think CC made some of the most interesting arcade games of their time.
I do not have any of the arcade games but that is only because I have not come across any yet.
It's like the Twinky, it gives you a 50 to 500 bonus, depending on where the lite lands on the backglass. Beautiful job on that Gunsmoke!

Our Moon Shot is the one that is fired up first when it comes to 2-4 people playing, tough but entertaining!
Quoted from mrbanjo:Currently have a Gunsmoke that I restored
Nice work on the G.S! How do you like it's game play. I have one that needs too much
work, but since I have a new backglass, I may one day begin tackling it. I also have a
Casino that needs a baclglass, but not as much work..
Quoted from gdonovan:Moon Shot is the one that is fired up first
I have never seen a moon shot before.
That looks like a tough layout.
Is it small flipper or long flipper?
Quoted from PinballAir:I have never seen a moon shot before.

1969, small flipper.
When the ball is down in the lower section of the field things get exciting in a hurry! Lots of popper action up top.
Trick to playing is to run up the bonus counters to 500 and then try to collect via the center lane roll overs.
I just joined the Chicago Coin Club about 3 weeks ago with my first CC purchase, a Champion Rifle Range. It's been neglected for a very long time and I have been thoroughly enjoying shopping it out. It is a very cool machine and I'm proud to own it.
The only other Moon Shot I've seen is one for sale in Reno on CL a while ago. Sorry but the 2 CC I was going to buy I had to let go as I could get over to around Chicago to pick them up and the guy held them for awhile for me. Sound Stage and a stern but just after they bought CC Stampede yes the much talked about one.
So I cannot be in the CC club but you guys are ok in book. < playing my imaginary Stampede
ADDED: Saw a Big Flipper for sale in CA CL. First time I have seen one for sale and thought I would mention it if you are close by.
