Started working on the Chicago coin Bullseye baseball that I picked up in the Tulsa auction- all steppers ( save the credit stepper) have been cleaned and are no longer sluggish, plugs replaced and or cleaned, and playfield dust and grime removed. Now I'm working on getting a game started- credits manually added to the stepper and I hit the button on the coin door- all credits zip down to zero- not stepping down but the reel freewheels down to 0-

I thought id was a jammed up arm/ spring assembly. Adding credits is easy by depressing the coil-same with removing credits- the coil at the top, even if i try- won't allow more than one credit to be removed per coil movement. am I missing something? I will pull the credit unit out and clean like the other- and maybe that will do the trick- I just thought it was physically impossible to have more than one credit tick down as the coil is energized....

Nevermind. there is one lever that is pretty gummy stopping the arm from dropping to stop the gear at one step- didn't see it till I had a co-worker hit the button as I was watching the stepper-
