Quoted from Mopar:
Chances of having a bad transformer is very slim.
Is this a machine that you just start working on?
Do all the coils work freely and not look burnt?
Wouldn't think its the score motor windings..
You can unplug the head and playfield. If it still
blows, you know it has to be in the lower cab.
Everything is unplugged minus the bottom board of the cabinet.
When I disconnect the LOW line and test right on the transformer I have continuity between the high and low windings on the transformer. I am assuming I should not.
Also, with that one lug disconnected on the transformer all of the coils now have the appropriate resistance.
