I am trying to bring a 1971 Chicago Coin Mardi Gras bowler back to life. The ball lift mechanism chain has a lot of slack and I am struggling to figure out what is missing. Can someone share pictures of their Chicago Coin lift mechanism. I believe 1965-1973 are all the same. See my pictures below. What am I missing?

The bolt and locking nut allow you to tighten the chain by sliding down the metal bracket with a Chicago Coin Chain, not United. Not all Chicago Coin Bowlers have the same chain, some are different lengths.

Also looks like the belt is what’s really loose.

Plastic dip those lift scoops! Save your balls!

thanks for responses. I was able to confirm that I have a united lift in a Chicago coin game. Thus lifts hitting sides and I was not able to adjust chain. See picture below. Chicago coin very different. Special thanks to St Lois bowler for helping me figure out.
