Quoted from Gryphun:Sweet deal man. My wife and I will be going to CAX on Sunday. Today we are at Blues and Brews in Pleasant Hill. I will PM you.
Cool, shoot me a PM when you get into town!
I was fortunate enough to source a NOS playfield with no mylar, which was clear coated by the previous owner. Decided to do the swap as my original playfield was down to the wood around the pit stop saucer and pop bumpers and shooter lane. With new plastics, ramp and Titans, Checkpoint plays like new again!!
CP1.JPG.pdfCP2.JPG.pdfQuoted from metalkatt:Can anyone tell me what the green/red lights do on the front under the ignition key?
I believe it's to indicate when the playfield needs to be cleaned.
I bought a modded center drop target cover from a fellow pinsider for CP over a year ago or so. Wish I had his contact, as he made a few extras. You might have luck going back on this thread, as he posted his mod for the center drop targets. Jody G at Ramp-O-matic is the way to go for a new ramp!
CPDT.jpg.pdfQuoted from cookpins:Anyone using the Rottendog Powerboard in their Checkpoint? Any issues with it, or better alternatives?
Aso, can someone please post a picture of how the ramp is installed at the left sling.
Ramp is held in place by a single threaded post stud. Either a 6 or 8-32 stud. Hope this helps!
CP Stud.pdfQuoted from usafstars:Nicely done. By the picture it looks flat unlike the metal, am I correct in what I’m seeing? If so that would be a pretty easy fix with some lexan.
You are correct, it has flat overhang. Think Lexan would be the proper fix.
I replaced my Turboboost kicker some years ago. Action Pinball was the source for most parts and directions.
