I've been making playfield plastic protectors for practically all of my pins.

Currently, I've been selling protectors for these 3 machines:
Fishtales
BadCats
BSD
WOZ

These protectors are cnc machined from 1/16 polycarbonate.

I've attached screen captures showing what I've designed in MasterCam. The blue depicts the playfield plastic itself. The yellow represents the protector geometries with the offset edges.

I'm hoping to sell theese in the price range of $45 to $60...depending on the machine, (Mousin Around being the most expensive due to the number of parts)

Is anyone interested in these?....Please let me know.

I have toolpaths written for the following machines:

8 Ball Deluxe
BK2K
Diner
Dirty Harry
High Speed
No Good Gofers
Pool Sharks
Riverboat Gambler
Shadow
Word Poker Tour
Mousin Around

Be interested in bk2k and Congo if you want to make thoes too.

#3 8 years ago

I don't own a Congo, (though I'd like to).

So making a set for that machine probably won't be happening any time soon.

Bump for he afternoon crowd

FYI..

I would need requests for 5 each of these titles in order to make it happen.

If not...then I guess all of my machines will truly be "one of a kinds".

Bump for the Monday crowd.

I bought a set for my BSD, was happy with the results. Very nice work, thanks for making these!

I would definitely buy these if you owned some of the games I do.

Thanks MMP,

I'm glad you like them.

I plan on making protectors for other machines in my collection...some time down the road. More than likely, I won't be running production on any of them. There just doesn't seem to be enough interest to justify the work involved.

Unfortunately, I don't have any of the machines that you own QuarterGrabber.

Would be interested in a johnny mnemonic set. I see it is not a a game you own, but I bet it would be popular since there are currently no reproductions of the plastics.

I'm just throwing this out there. What if we have a game you don't own but we want protectors for them. Can we send you scans of our plastics to cut? That's what I do with pinbits. Plus then you can keep them on file and if you ever buy that game you already have the CAD file.

I'd be interested in a Diner set. The center drop target plastic protector is a must!

Any chance your getting any closer to a dirty harry set? I'd take one.

I probably won't get around to running any of these until this winter.

So far, there doesn't seem to be much interest though.
