Hello to all of you pinheads,

I recently got myself my first pin. I bought a Gottlieb Gladiators from a friend of mine. Everything went well for the 1st month but now it seems like, at a very random state, as I am playing the game, it switches from english to another language and the score becomes all messed up on the DMD. The language to which it changes is I'm guessing, german, and after an also random amount of time, it switches back to english. Can someone here help me out with this problem please?

Inspect the board closely for alkaline damage. If your manual shows the language is controlled by dip switches consider cycling them several times to see if you can resolve the problem that way. Otherwise replacing them may be the next step.

Thanks for the help, I'll try this and the next step if it doesn't work. It's not a major problem because I can still play and it comes back to normal after a certain amount of time. It just gets on my nerves when it happens.
