Meteor
Stern Electronics, 1979OK. I fixed an EM this summer for my first pin. And now it seems I have a chance to score a Meteor. Glass is good, plastic is all there. The guy says it turns on, but there is a high pitch coming from the speakers. It's not certain from his texts, but I'm assuming it doesn't play. EM is complex for sure, but everything is basically easily fixable/replaceable. I'm sure SS are totally dependent on the boards.
Any ideas? What should I look for?

You'll have to replace the capacitors on the sound board & probably the harness.

Correct. He says its high pitch off the bat. Gonna hopefully see it and take a video of startup.
