Here we are - the championship. Medieval Madness vs. Twilight Zone. Voting is open, it will close Monday at 10pm EST/7pm PST.

There is only one choice now.

Based on the votes, so is it equal for all of us!

#7 3 years ago

This is to close to call. End voting now. 27/27

#8 3 years ago

now 29 to 29

#9 3 years ago

This is an impossible choice..my 2 favorite pins...

#10 3 years ago

32-32

#11 3 years ago

I broke the tie. I'm in the zone.

#12 3 years ago

Just polled the family. We all agreed that they are basically tied... although MM is a little more fun to play. TZ looks cooler and has better sounds. We went for MM.

41-34

Both great, but there can only be one King.

Twilight Zone as bigger points built up and things to get going at once but love the ramps in MM. Wish for maiden to more like these two combined.

#17 3 years ago

55 - 55, whoah!

#18 3 years ago

Hey its only pinball.

#19 3 years ago

This will be no landslide for sure....great stuff!!

(kind of makes you laugh when TZ is #9 here, but has been a solid #1 in the IPDB for so long)

Because they didn’t remake it and there’s no topper.

Could be on to something...

As a child of the '00s who didn't get into pinball until recently, someone who has been spoiled by modern machines and doesn't have a history with any machines (not even playing pinball until recently), I think TZ takes the crown. I did not watch the show while growing up, but knew of it. I initially had no interest in the machine as I preferred more modern tables, but after playing TZ I was actually compelled to go buy one (which I pick up this weekend).

#23 3 years ago

Depends on what you like most. I like MM better as a theme, but let's face it, there isn't a game out there with as much craziness and things to do as TZ. I think the castle on MM might be the best toy ever though. I ended up going with TZ simply because it is such a feat of design AND theme.

#24 3 years ago

Imagine, if you will, the greatest pinball of all (2021) time...

#25 3 years ago

Good game so far.

70-71, really fun they still are so close
Would be fun if TZ could de-crown MM for once.

#28 3 years ago

Insane how close this is. Need more voters!

#29 3 years ago

It is neck and neck. 30 lead changes in 24 hours.

#30 3 years ago

I prefer AFM to MM but TZ is my #1. Such a fun and intricate playfield with so many satisfying shots. Theme, art, sound and rules are firing on all cylinders in my book and the powerball puts it over the top.

Licenced vs Non Licenced - FIGHT!

Too true

Oh man...3 to 4 packs a day!

This may be best first post I have ever read.

MM gets my vote. I love the artwork, gameplay, callouts, lighting, and theme. It is the complete package for me.

Agreed...in the end, if it has to be one, MM is the one I have the hardest time going by and not hitting start. It's truly a game that is very, very competitive w any title old or new, IMHO.

#37 3 years ago

Tied again? I think we might need to allow this one to be called a tie and award the 1.5 position to both.

#38 3 years ago

Well crap. Didn't look before voting and absolutely would have changed my vote just to put things back into a tie.

Alas. MM with the whopping 2 vote lead for now.

#39 3 years ago

85-84.

Every vote counts.

#40 3 years ago

Where are my TZ fans! Come vote.

You could always go back and change your vote.

Here. Tied once more.

All 90s titles are average at best (many prior games are better), Congo is the best one and I wouldn't take it over TMNT, a middling recent Stern. #didnotvote

You're entitled to your opinion even if you are completely wrong.

Funny, I think the exakt opposite. To me the 90s games are the peak of pinball and everything released after that is inferior related to 90s pure fun gameplay. Sure, the newer games look great visually but that's all there is, looks and no soul. I got bored of playing the new TMMT after about 30 minutes.

Also, as others have mentioned earlier, the title of "best pin of all time" can't be earned in a year or two, the game need to be constantly popular for a long time (many years) to earn that in my opinion, thus new pins are automatically disqualified to compete for that title.

Medieval Madness takes a seven vote lead. Will it hold?

#48 3 years ago

Shoulda been AFM vs. IJ...but whatever I root for loses, is discontinued, or goes out of business.

TZ is one of my favorite themes, but I never liked the game. MM is fun but the callouts are too annoying for me to play for very long.

So I had to vote against one game rather than for another.

Yep....stick a fork in this one....
