Picked up a CP the other day. Just as an investment. Never have really been interested in CP. The game was in beautiful condition. Perfect play field, almost perfect cabinet low play time. My wife, my self and my stepson started playing this thing and we're blowing through boxers like crazy. I thought " man this game is too easy I would master this one quickly." Yesterday my wife started playing, I jumped in, and we were going along pretty well, she ended up beating me and becoming Pub Champion. She was really proud of that! I noticed that everytime we hit the boxers with a good hard gut shot we scored a head shot. What the? So after the game I opened up the boxer and had a look at the head and gut switches. Nothing jumped out at me. So I installed a piece of " sticky cushion stock the kind that's behind the target switches." At the top rear of the head. Just so to cushion the switch contact. Boy what a difference! You have to work to defeat the boxers now! You have to score a real "under the chin" head shot to get the award! I think my wife's Pub Champion status is going to last awhile! I think this one might be a keeper after all!
