Looking to pick up something new, and I want something with staying power. I know my budget makes that a little difficult, but looking for suggestions. I'm open to anything DMD or System 11 in the 2000-2500 range.

LOL J/K and congrats on finally getting it sold. Wish I had the room.
Anyway, FT is pretty challenging. BR is a lot of fun. Dr. Who can be tough and BSD will absolutely kick your...
NBAFB was and is a challenge with some depth. Underrated, and I 'm saying that even after it's sold
FT is on the list, love BR but it's a little too video-mode heavy. BSD is tough to find under 2500 these days unfortunately.
If you count BSD as having enough depth, then pretty much any tough game in your price range will work.
It's near the top of your price range, but maybe consider Indy 500 if the theme doesn't kill it for you. (Mine isn't for sale.) It's a pretty tough game. Lots of modes and multiballs. Wizard goals, but not wizard modes.

Love Indy 500 and not against the theme. Haven't seen any for under 3k or so recently.
Quoted from tb0ne:Thoughts on WWFRR and JP? I've always been a B/W guy - never owned a Data East.
WWFRR is very cool. Lots of modes, cool layout, nice use of the extra widebody space. Very solid feeling for a DE (or for any pin). It's more medium than hard, at least when it's set up typically. Worth considering if you find one.
WWFRR is cool for under $1500 but not for more. Fun to shoot but code is lacking.
If you want DMD, cheaper, and depth with lasting power then StarGate and Tee'd Off are great bang for your buck. I have TO on route and everyone is enjoying it greatly once they realize the depth of the rules and great shot layout.
Quoted from Monster_Bash:WPT is crazy deep if you can get past the theme
This is a good one. I'd recommend Johnny Mnemonic too.
You could get quite a nice Whirlwind in that range, which is always a good choice. It has one of the 1st wizard-like modes, so there is some depth there. Otherwise, I would agree that Stargate is a solid choice.
I've seen some Road Show's sell in the $2200-$2500 range lately. So much bang for your buck with that pin...and I think it is a pretty deep game.
Quoted from Jackster:Doctor Who, Dredd, BSD, Taxi, Diner, BK2K, all a lot of fun around that range
Fun yes but I wouldn't call any of those deep
Edit maybe Dread
Quoted from thedefog:JP. And with that code update, it will be pretty amazing. I'd say get one now before they get more expensive. I doubt they're going to stay in sub $2k range much longer.
buy on rumor, sell on news(release)
WPT and Ripley's are both extremely deep. If you don't mind the theme of WPT, I think you'll find it's a great game with some innovative rules. Ripley's has good rules and (in my opinion anyway) one of the most memorable (if not actually the best) Stern sound packages. If you can find an Indy 500 for your price range, that's a great choice too. The game has quite a few interesting features with some unobtainium goals like cashing in a triple triple "A,200,000,000" victory lap.
Bsd and hs2 are fun, but very shallow. If you are a decent a decent player and have a small lineup you will get bored. Bump up your range by 500 and go after rbion, one of the deepest pins ever made.
Judge Dredd for depth. It even has two game modes with Supergame. It is a bit of a novelty, but it is fun to break up the gameplay.
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:Another vote for World Poker Tour - a great game that is way underappreciated!
I agree with all of the WPT talk. It's super fun but super ugly backglass.
