Quoted from Damonator:I don't think it will jump that much. My guess is 9k standard/10k LE.
Not a chance. $12,500 standard. $15,000 LE.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:Pat doesn’t code so I doubt having him “on board” would sell any extra TZ remakes.
It’s Pinside…have Pat slap a signature on a hundred of them and call it some special limited name and someone will pay more for it…
The above aside, I agree fully with you.
Quoted from pinballaddicted:Dead. Another rumor .. more than likely not true.
I think the TZ rumor has merit. That said, another rumor is that CGC is done with the B/W remakes entirely and that PPS is looking for another partner to continue doing remakes. Several podcasts were discussing this rumor over the past couple of weeks. The theory is maybe American Pinball will do a remake. I wonder if they would do the large 16 bit display as well if that rumor is true.
Quoted from Joe_Blasi:after CGC put in all the work to have the system to port the old WPC code into new hardware? Does PPS own the rights to that? As others can just go back to useing emulation of the WPC code + other code running on top of that to do the rest of the system.
And other games do need some code work or at the min use the home roms with coin play added back. Will they use the soren roms?
All great questions. No idea. But TZ is not the game for a new company to start their remake resume on. Maybe CGC would joint venture with whoever does it and share the platform they developed wirh then.
Quoted from mbeardsley:Well, it's safe to say that the cost to produce a TZr would be higher than that of CCr, so it would be likely that a price increase would be needed.
I would think an extra $500 to $1000 would be reasonable...but that's just a guess.
TZ - if it is indeed remade - will not be a penny less than $10,000…my guess is $12,500 for the LE with the topper…and it will sell.
