Quoted from oldbaby:Adding a ball saver would be cool. (I'm aware some Twilight Zones have this feature through a special ROM).
I think that may be rom 9.2 and later?
Or maybe the rom before 9.2

Quoted from gdonovan:Nah. Have code 2.0 available as a choice at start, color display, upgraded sound (which is almost a given now that ram is so cheap you don't have to worry about compression) and it will sell like hotcakes.
Added: LED out of the box one would assume.
2.0?
more like maybe an 10.0
that is most of 9.4H + coin play
9.2 is good and 9.4H added an few things / fixes.
or just use 9.4HC like they did for monster bash.
Quoted from Damonator:I bought a Haggis Fathom Mermaid because I think it is the most beautiful game ever made - I don't have any pre-dmd games otherwise.
As for TZ, it's simple math. To get a completely restored TZ with new everything, it's going to cost $13-$18k. But a new CGC TZr (with improved screen, sound, RGB lights and topper) would be $10k (ish).
TZr would sell like hotcakes.
should have 3rd magnet also 9.4CH + rom as base (maybe with MUTE & PAUSE OK set to default off)
add more tracking spots of the power ball if they can as well.
Quoted from Damonator:Don't get him started - Punchy The Clown Remake
we do not need more redemption pinball games. Maybe ticket tack toe.
Quoted from mbaumle:If they decide to modify the software at all, I do hope they get Ted Estes involved, or at least his blessing as a courtesy.
they will at the min will port it to there newer system / do there own sound system that is more or less what the pinsound does as well.
Quoted from TigerLaw:I think the TZ rumor has merit. That said, another rumor is that CGC is done with the B/W remakes entirely and that PPS is looking for another partner to continue doing remakes. Several podcasts were discussing this rumor over the past couple of weeks. The theory is maybe American Pinball will do a remake. I wonder if they would do the large 16 bit display as well if that rumor is true.
after CGC put in all the work to have the system to port the old WPC code into new hardware? Does PPS own the rights to that? As others can just go back to useing emulation of the WPC code + other code running on top of that to do the rest of the system.
And other games do need some code work or at the min use the home roms with coin play added back. Will they use the soren roms?
Quoted from Haymaker:You'll see something from Raw Thrills soon but its unclear if its TZ or Pulp Fiction or both
will they have free updates or make you pay $20 + shipping and tax for each software update?
Quoted from mbeardsley:I believe that Centaur is on Haggis Pinball's list for a possible remake (though who knows when that will be).
replace that mislabeled tilt warning setting (for now days) with real tilt warnings in an update
Quoted from transprtr4u:This !
Was originally produced with it , hope they put it back in !
and use 9.4H as the code base to start from.
