Quoted from Diospinball:A NIB funhouse for 4-5k... I'd be open for that...
A lot of people would. If made, it just wouldn't be available for that. I'm sure it would be a lot more.
LTG : )
Quoted from Diospinball:Well, I think it would have to be in that price range.
Have to be, and able to do it for that. Is sadly far apart.
Do something about the alphanumeric to LCD. Different size playfield. Lots of mechs.
Don't get me wrong. I'd like to see a new one. I just don't think it could even be done for their current pricing.
LTG : )
Quoted from rawbars:apparent they only have the rights to make Bally/Williams games.
CGC doesn't have any rights.
Their partner in the remakes is PPS, who has the rights to the Williams license. Coincidentally PPS also has Capcom pinball license rights.
LTG : )
Quoted from rawbars:And why would they let another company remake Kingpin?
Maybe Circus Maximus made a deal with PPS ? They are already working with PPS on the Pinball Circus machine project.
Quoted from rawbars:You don’t just skip over BBB and then let another company remake Kingpin if you have the rights to make them.
If it gets Kingpin made, or made sooner. Why not skip over BBB ?
LTG : )
Quoted from arcademojo:other say it was owned by someone else.
Gene with Illinois Pinball ? Which PPS bought the rights to in the bankruptcy auction. So PPS either got it then, or since then. Probably not all that hard to get.
LTG : )
Quoted from arcademojo:Question for you. How does Scientific games come into play with all this? Aren't they the license holders of Williams/Bally pinball
They own Williams.
They sell license rights to companies to produce Williams products.
LTG : )
Quoted from razorsedge:Whitewater would have to be one of their best options I think. Fantastic unlicenced theme!
You still need to deal with the Williams license.
LTG : )
Quoted from brainmegaphone:Is there a date for the next announcement?
I would hope some news for Expo. But you never know. Monster Bash had to wait last year from TPF until Expo.
What ever it is. I'm sure people will be pleased and calling their distributors.
LTG : )
Quoted from OldSchoolBlood:Mystery Castle
King Kong
CGC wouldn't do these. Thread is CGC - remake wish list.
So maybe somebody else ?
LTG : )
Quoted from pghpinfan:Any leaks with the expo coming up?
I haven't heard anything. Not even an invite to stop by the factory. No idea if they'll have anything new to wow us with or not.
I'm sure they'll have games there to add to the Expo fun.
LTG : )
Quoted from CGC-Ryan:The door is always open for you Lloyd. You sir never need an invitation.
Too cool ! I may have to stop in on my way on Thursday morning !
LTG : )
Quoted from arcademojo:Did any of these LE games come factory with a type of anti-glare playfield glass?
No.
LTG : )
Quoted from Yesh23:I was talking to a gentleman from their company at Expo on Saturday and we were talking about MMR and when to expect to see it and details on it and he flat out told me that game #4 was Cactus Canyon and they'd announce it at the Texas show.
You sure he was with CGC ? I only recall Ryan and Doug there. ( and me ). I don't know. And Ryan and Doug might know future plans, which can change. Until something is announced, no one knows for sure.
LTG : )
Quoted from adborto:I always hear the argument that TZ would cost to much due to BOM. With some games selling for 15K, would a 12.5K TZ be expensive? I would pay that for a fresh TZ “Royal” game. I would even consider TAF at 9K.
I thought it's always been more about the licensing costs.
LTG : )
Quoted from guss:Maybe they are working with Circus Maximus to make King pin.
As I recall the Pinside rumor mill way back when was CGC for BBB and Circus Maximus for Kingpin.
I believe if you read through the Circus Maximus Kingpin thread you'll see where they posted they were in Chicago shopping for a manufacturer. Which at that time could have been Stern, American Pinball, or CGC. Or they'd do production themselves in their own building.
This was all quite some time ago. So no idea on ifs or whens or who's.
I just don't see BBB or KP happening by anybody anytime soon. Even though I'd like to see them both done.
LTG : )
Game Plan pinball machine. One of the great games of all times. Very deserving of a remake. Fred young could still add more voices to an updated remake.
LTG : )
Quoted from TopTierArcade:It's Theatre of Magic. 99% sure based on a good reference
So it's a 1% chance it's PTC !
Excellent.
LTG : )
Quoted from arcademojo:2020 closely coming to an end. No new game announced.
I'm sure they are working hard. No exact time frame yet. I hope soon.
Give 2020 a tough year a better finish.
LTG : )
Quoted from brobra:I’d like to see NGG rebranded Caddy Shack.
I don't think we'll see any original Williams game rebranded.
Doesn't rule out that once they start independent titles that people might see a theme they like made.
LTG : )
Quoted from Viggin900:Wait a second,Cactus Canyon? Damn, I have been confused this whole thread thinking it was Cactus Jacks. Now I'm really let down.
You ?
Heck I'm still hoping for PTC !
Don't disappoint me CGC !
LTG : )
Quoted from djsolzs:might be that Planetary Pinball is looking for a hefty chunk of cheese
I doubt it's hefty. And Scientific Games ( license owner ) has to be involved.
LTG : )
Quoted from arcademojo:So we now have a Fathom 2.0 but limited to only 250. WTFFFFFFF!!!
Could have easily sold 500 fo them.
This is a CGC wish list thread. Post this on the Haggis thread. If enough interest maybe it will help.
LTG : )
Quoted from Only_Pinball:Makes me wonder if CGC's remake licence is up
No.
Quoted from Only_Pinball:Add in the talk of them making their own games
They are planning for a future after the remakes. Which through the years there was talk of ten remakes, reduced to six. And they have already done three. So can't blame them for making plans. You have the capability to build games and make cabinets and playfields. And trained people there. No sense letting them go to waste.
LTG : )
Quoted from Multiballmaniac1:CGC is waiting for major inflation and lower disposable income to release next title.
Wrong.
LTG : )
Quoted from RA77:Top 3 it is then
PTC, EFL, darn. I need a third.
Maybe combine every bodies hopes in one pin. White Addams Nights.
LTG : )
Quoted from kst8cat:I never see anyone mention it,
Been mentioned. With a DMD. Will it ever happen ? Doubt it. But who knows.
LTG : )
Quoted from bankmansam:LTG their is a punchy the clown on ebay 2750.00 i think
Thank you.
Sadly not a remake though.
LTG : (
Quoted from Dantes1844:has anyone heard anything about second AFM or MB production runs?
No.
LTG : )
My last request this year for a PTCR or EFLR.
I hope everybody's dream theme comes true for them next year.
LTG : )
Quoted from Richard-NBA-SF2:I assumed CV was not on the list as the dmd is in a funky spot.
A DMD didn't work well there with clearance issues and the plastic. I doubt a bigger LCD would fare any better.
