Now that CGC has dropped the CE price down to $5999. What other pins would you like to see remade? Adding licensed pins in the mix because it can happen. They did Monster Bash when everyone was saying it couldn't happen. So there is hope for other licensed pins. Poll added. You can vote on more then one. And for the hundredth time. They are not making a CCCr but we can hope for polished code.

All the remakes are great! They allow more people to experience these pins! Only downside is they lower the originals value.

Funhouse.

Funhouse with a DMD! Should have been from the start.

It’s weird that White Water keeps popping up on these remake lists. I can’t imagine the justification of a remake since the value of the game is still pretty low. Well, comparitively speaking.

#7 5 years ago

AFMRLE and MMRLE. Order placed for MBLE.
Anyone want to buy an EBDLE?

They are still within reach. As each top dollar A title gets remade the next one in line prices increase. Another way to look at it is, there are a lot of people with cash that would rather buy a new pin delivered to their door from a well known distro then mess with the hassle of driving to some unknown sellers house with thousands in their pocket. Or wire money for a used game site unseen.

+2 for Funhouse. Rudy needs his grand entrance into the 21st century world of barcades!

They already did. "Beatles.

#12 5 years ago

Fathom at $3,995

#13 5 years ago

I would buy a new funhouse. Hopefully with added rules and updated callouts with a DMD. I could also see them doing an old school sys 11 display and doing something new with it, I think that would be pretty neat.

#14 5 years ago

Why not all of them eventually if people want them as I asked this question six years ago when we Never thought could be possible.

#15 5 years ago

I’d love to see STTNG done by CGC. No idea what the license would run, though.

#16 5 years ago

How about Twilight Zone?? Is there some reason that this is not on the radar- probably one of the best pins ever and hard to find in great shape. Imagine how it would benefit from all new electronics- bring it on!!

#17 5 years ago

The Big Lebowski.

16,000 were made. It's far too expensive in terms of BoM and assembly costs by today's standards. Market price is way too low considering the former. Plus there are tons of them in good condition.

#19 5 years ago

Big Bang Bar sems to me to be the obvious answer, even though this would be it's 3rd run. Remaking any of the BW games that there are probably over 10,000 of still out there makes no sense.

If I was looking to sell any of my BW games like Scared Stiff or MB, the remakes would probably piss me off way more, but hopefully I won't be even thinking of doing that for at least a decade and a half, so bring em on!!

#20 5 years ago

I'd like to see CGC come up with new themed pins rather than then continue with the remake model.

#21 5 years ago

I vote BBB because it's the one most people have not played.

#22 5 years ago

I dont care what it is, I will probably buy it, but I have no more room! Maybe they should make folding pinball machines so i can stack them when not in use or something.

#23 5 years ago

BBBB out by July 27th, 2020. 80th birthday.

Agreed.

Even though I don't like the game at all, I'm curious to see what they do with CC as I think it needs a LOT more work than any of their previous remakes in order to sell decent numbers, and once it's widely available at a reasonable price (at least in US) if people will still lust after it.

BBB's interesting because it's so beautiful, but it might benefit from some minor geometry changes, as well as a complete overhaul of code.

ToMr will almost certainly get done, but I'm not that enthusiastic. Great flow, but the game lacks any real fun factor for me.

The rest make little business sense, IMO, and are quite risky. Much better to invest in their future and hire people who can deliver on new themes.

I see this as an upside. But I'm not sitting on an original I paid a crazy price for, so there's that.

#26 5 years ago

CC . I think the CGC topper on this LE would do me in.

Quoted from NinJaBooT:

Why not do both? There’s no rule saying a manufacturer can only produce one pin a year.

#29 5 years ago

Another vote for Funhouse. Hard to find a nice original one since the majority did not have diamond plate. I would be happy with the alpha numeric displays at $6000 or less.

It would be cool to see BBB remade. Don't think I would want one but would be nice to check it out. I know CC will get a lot of votes but I've played several of those. Decent fun but wouldn't rank gameplay higher than other games on that list like WH20, TAF, TZ, CFTBL, etc.

Again, 10k were made, tons are around, and it's easy to either find or restore one to decent order. Mirco Funhouse pfs have been available for ages now.

Also, it's an absolutely brutal, unforgiving game ... more so than TNA. How well's that going to do in today's market?

You’re assuming that everyone can do a restore. And most high end restored ones go for over 8k. Let’s see: sell my original that needs restored for 4K and drop 6k on a brand new one. Or spend another 2k in parts and restore mine. I’ll take the new one any day.

Player's FH goes for under €2k in Europe. Nice one €2.5k. Super high end one, €5-6.5k.

Outside of the top 5% of the market, prices aren't that high in the US either.

Again, why would they build something which there are loads of, and the price isn't that high, when they're not going to be able to sell to the pricing scale they've established?

There's a very good reason why they're doing relatively low run, very high priced machines, and why Circus Maximus are doing an ultra low run, ultra high price game in Kingpin.

#33 5 years ago

IJ would make me sad given what I just paid for an original.

#34 5 years ago

I'd probably be tempted into buying a totan remake with some new flare on it.

#35 5 years ago

Indiana Jones, Theatre of Magic, or Tales From The Arabian Nights.. Id buy all 3

Doesn't matter how many were made. Finding a nice one for a decent price is not easy. When one comes up for sale for a fair price, they go fast. Very collectable. Wouldn't call gameplay brutal, though. It's just a really fun game.

I’d like a NIB Scared Stiff please.

Now this I would be my first LE. Unless they did TAF first.

IJ and TZ seem to be immune to remakes.

#43 5 years ago

I personally would like to see them remake Scared Stiff. One if my favorites and prices now a days are just insane.

#44 5 years ago

I would be in for a SSrLE if they have a real nice Elvira sculpture topper that jumps up and down like AFMrLE’s topper. Just saying... donning my flame retardant suit right now...

#45 5 years ago

Tried to add Fathom and Centaur to list but can't figure out how. Still think both would be good to remake and they could probably only have $4500 to $5000 price tag.

#46 5 years ago

I voted for all of them! More pinball is good pinball

#47 5 years ago

With all the CV's suddenly coming on the market do they know something I don't?

#48 5 years ago

Well if we are wishing in here, and not just speculating, I would love to see modern remakes of old titles, updated and rereleased with new modern tech and new rules and a new art package.

Could you see a Xenon with modern rules and modes? Or Centaur, or Fireball, or Fathom? You dont need to reengineer a bunch of stuff, just pay the coders and the art department and lets do this!

Or give any of the pre dot numeric/alpha numeric era classics the Jackbot treatment, just don’t screw the pooch and retheme it as a gambling “Casino at the End of the Universe” which was the biggest disservice to the Pinbot Brand since putting him on the Taxi machine. (No offence Taxi owners, but he sticks out like a sore thumb... and you constantly have to explain to people who Pinbot is)

Sure wish away! This is not a ""What's game #4 or 5 or 6"" thread. It's simply a what would you like to see CGC remake thread.
I started it to discus pro's and or cons of remaking differnt games since the "WHAT'S GAME #XXXX" threads always get cloged with the same wishfull thinking with every new #X thread.

I would also love to see other classic games being remade with modern code features and/or rules.

Agreed with this 100% Love my Pinbot and would love to have it with modern features and DMD. Oh wait Jack Bot was supposed to be it. NOT!!!! Just don't like the art work on Jack Bot at all. Think they would have do a lot better if they just kept the artwork same as original without the space cards add on.
